New Features Added to 2005 Electronic Versions of ABYC
Standards & Technical Information Reports
July 21, 2005, Edgewater, MD: The American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) announced that the updated CD-ROM and Web-STIR (Standards & Technical Information Reports online) versions of the ABYC Standards and Technical Information Reports for Small Craft, is now available to ABYC members for purchase. Contained in this latest version is Supplement #45, which includes the new standard, A-31, Battery Chargers & Inverters, as well as this year's supplement documents. Documents affected by this years supplement are: A-16, A-23, H-3, H-22, H-24, H-31, H-33, H-35, S-30 and T-10, as well as the following new features:
- FREEComparison Reports
- FREEAll 5 Compliance Guidelines
- FREERules & Regulations for Recreational Boats (CFR)
- Access to the standards revised in 2003 and 2004, in addition to the complete set of 2005 Standards & Technical Information Reports
- No unlocking features or authorization strings to gain access
- Ability to copy and paste text and graphics
