Sara Hudson at the Helm as Westlawn's Student Services Coordinator
Sara Hudson, Avid Sailor and Westlawn Student, to Take on New Role

July 8, 2004, Edgewater, MD: The Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology proudly announces that Sara Hudson has accepted the position of Student Services Coordinator. Sara brings a strong background in office management, bookkeeping, and strong computer skills to Westlawn. In accepting the position, Sara has become the first Student Services Coordinator in Westlawn history who is both a sailor and a fellow Westlawn student. She'll be in the best position possible to understand any student questions.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Sara is an avid sailor and holds an Australian Yachting Federation Coastal Skipper certificate. She is highly trained and experienced in yacht repair and restoration, management of a marine apprenticeship program, and other marine-business related activities.

"With Sara's insight into the Westlawn course material and enrollment process, she will add more value to our staff and to the quality of services that our students receive," states Dave Gerr, Director of Westlawn. "I am thrilled and delighted that she will bring her skills and talent to our team."

Sara's responsibilities will include: office management, bookkeeping, and coordinating with the Westlawn students and staff. She will work closely with Dave Gerr, Director of Westlawn.
