ABYC Membership Reaches New Altitude with Addition
of Arrowhead Products Corporation

June 30, 2005, Edgewater, MD: The American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) announced today that Arrowhead Products Corporation, a leader in aerospace ducting and insulation systems, has expanded its commitment to marine manufacturing and the boating industry by becoming a member of ABYC. The addition of Arrowhead products as a 'Silver' Member adds to a growing trend of manufacturers committed to boating safety through membership and participation in ABYC and the standards writing process.

Based in Los Alamitos, CA, Arrowhead Products Corporation has been involved in the manufacture of metallic and nonmetallic ducting systems and components since 1937. Their products are used on virtually all modern military and commercial aircraft and space vehicles. Arrowhead's expertise in working with a wide variety of materials for integrated ducting and insulation systems has earned the company worldwide recognition. For more information, you may visit www.arrowheadproducts.net or contact them directly at (714) 828-7770.

Steve Ross, Continuous Improvement Manager and Assistant to the Vice President of Research and Development, said "As a leader in the engineering, designing and manufacturing of high quality ducting systems and advanced composite products for the Space and Aircraft industries, Arrowhead Products plans to bring its expertise to the ABYC for the advancement of the marine industry. We are innovators looking forward to bringing new technology to the challenges that exist today."

"ABYC was excited to see that before entering the marine industry, Arrowhead took the time to investigate important factors such as safety and standards," stated Sharon Busker, ABYC's Membership Director. They did their homework, which signaled to us they were serious and committed to doing it right. Therefore, we are both thrilled and proud to have them onboard as one of our newest Silver Members, concluded Busker."

ABYC has been developing, writing and updating the safety standards for boat building and repair in the United States for over 50 years. ABYC is actively involved with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as well as education and certification programs for marine technicians. These standards are available on CD-ROM, online (Web-STIR) and in printed form. Membership and general information can be requested by visiting the ABYC web site at www.abycinc.org.
