Bombardier Motor Corporation of America, Teleflex Morse, Inc. and
Viking Yacht Company Step Up Membership Levels of Safety Organization
March 11, 2003, Edgewater, MD: The American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) today announced that three of its members recently decided to increase their membership levels.
Bombardier Recreational Products moved from a Gold Level to a Platinum Level. Bombardier designs, develops, builds, distributes and markets motorized recreational products and sport boats as well as Evinrude® and Johnson® outboard engines and Ficht® direct fuel injection and E-TECTM technology. Bombardier has been providing durable, reliable products to its wide range of boating customers, and has long been known for its ability to reinvent transportation technologies.
Teleflex Morse, Inc. also increased from Gold to Platinum. As a leading supplier of products and solutions for the global boating industry, including providing Marine Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM Boatbuilders) with steering, controls, cables, gauges, electronic monitors, and other marine accessories, Teleflex Morse, Inc. Marine Products is widely known for its innovative new products and unmatched quality.
Viking Yacht Company increased from a Silver Level to the Silver Plus Level. In 37-years of operation as a family-owned yacht building business, Viking prides itself on unbeatable attention to quality engineering. Viking maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and philosophy, which has led to them being able to efficiently produce over 100 boats a year.
Both Teleflex Morse, Inc. and Viking Yacht Company have been ABYC members for over a quarter century.
