ABYC and Westlawn at IBEX 2003
October 27 - 29, 2003
Miami, FL

This year's IBEX was a great success for ABYC and the Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology. With the recent affiliation of ABYC and Westlawn, both booths were located next to each other in the exhibit area. Attendees were invited to explore all the offerings both ABYC and Westlawn had to offer and meet the ABYC and Westlawn staff in person.

The premier ABYC/Structural Composites, Inc. Composite Boat Building Certification (CBBC) course took place over three days during the conference, and as always, ABYC sponsored an educational track that consisted of 12 seminars.

Some photos of ABYC and Westlawn at IBEX 2003 follows. We look forward to seeing you again next year at our booth or one of our many educational sessions!

Westlawn Instructor, Stu Waring waits for the show floor to open in the recently re-designed Westlawn booth.

Once the exhibit area is open all ABYC staff members, including ABYC President/CEO Skip Burdon are in the ABYC booth answering questions and assisting attendees.

Westlawn students and prospective students gather around the Westlawn booth to speak with Westlawn Director, Dave Gerr and Westlawn Instructor, Stu Waring.

ABYC also puts on an education track each year at IBEX. Ed Sherman and Larry Goudy are among many of the ABYC speakers.
