ABYC Project Technical Committees (PTCs) are responsible for Standards and Technical Information Reports for Small Craft. The standards development process is a deliberate, thoughtful process of drafts review, commentary, revision, debate, more revision and more review. Each PTC is made up of members from all segments of the marine industry including manufacturers, surveyors, boatyards, repair facilities, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the general public. Each committee is required to maintain a balance of members from each segment. If you are interested in becoming a member of a specific ABYC PTC, please attend the next scheduled PTC meeting.
